How does this thing work?

When taping your design try using Scotch-Blue™ Painter’s Tape for Delicate Surfaces.  For more information on taping surfaces, take a look at one of our previous blogs.

Now it’s time to start!

1)     Determine the desired width of the stripes you want to create, and then lock the U-Stripe It & Design tool in place. When locking the U-Stripe It & Design tool, place it on a hard surface then fasten tightly the wing nuts.

2)     Place the U-Stripe It & Design tool in the top corner of the wall; be sure to check the level to assure accuracy.  Using 1” delicate painters tape, place the tape on the outside of the U-Stripe It & Design tool, extending it from top to bottom, creating your first stripe to be painted.

3)     Position the U-Stripe It & Design tool over the tape, which was just placed on the wall during step two, using the inside of the U-Stripe It & Design tool as your guide; place the next strip of tape on the outside of the U-Stripe It & Design tool, extending it from top to bottom.

4)     After Step Three, place the U-Stripe It & Design tool on the outside of the tape - which was just placed on the wall during Step Three.  Using the full width of the U-Stripe It & Design tool, repeat Step Two, then repeat Step Three, until the room is completed.

The “U-Stripe It & Design” U-Stripe It & Design tool is easy to use, saves time and is very affordable.  Using the U-Stripe It & Design tool eliminates the need for multiple striping tools such as a calculator, colored pencils, chalk lines, yard stick, carpenter level, or laser level.  The U-Stripe It & Design tool can be used by just one person as opposed to traditional striping - which may require two or more people to complete a project.  The only thing you will need is the U-Stripe It & Design tool and painters tape.  In repeating two easy steps you can complete your design.

U-Stripe It & Design Tool-Review and Giveaway

After buying a very run-down hundred-year-old house, my husband and I are quickly learning that our plans for the future aren’t about what to renovate, but are about what to renovate first. Half of the house is an unfinished addition and the other half was last updated in the late seventies, so there are very few areas that don’t need to go through major changes to turn our house into the palace that we dream of.  To read more go to:
